Quality requirements:

1.The wire rope thimble should be smooth and flat without any crack,defect,sharp edge and roughness in the surface which will damage the steel rod.The tip of the thimble should fit freely and be cut to the half depth of the groove.

2.The wire rope thimble surface should be hot-dip galvanized without roughness,leakage galvanized,zinc granule,bubble and crack.The zinc coating should have enough adhesive strength in general application.

3.The wire rope thimble material could be A3 steel or 15、35 quality carbon steel.

4.The safe fail loading of wire rope thimble should be no less than 32% of the maximum breaking force of steel rod.

5.The selection for wire rope thimble should be in accordance with the specification of steel rod.The diameter of shaft pin used should be no less than twice diameter of steel rod.
