According to installation condition,link fittings can be divided into specialized link fitting and general link fitting, the ball link is one of general link.

1.Specialized link fittings are ball clevis and socket eye,of which the features are no directivity,big deflection,rotatable,convenient assembly and disassembly,live work access.

2.General link fittings are link fittings except specialized link fitting.

According to usage and structure features,link fittings can be divided into three series.

1.Ball-socket series

It belongs to specialized link fitting,which is designed according to structures linking with insulators and directly connected with insulator.Therefore,the structure and size of connection part should be the same with insulators.

2.Clevis-clevis series

It realizes connection by bolts or pins.

3.Ring -chain series

It belongs to line to line contact fittings,which adopts structures of linking with rings.
Clevis-clevis series and ring -chain series link fittings are general link fittings,which is applied to all kinds connections and are divided into several grades on loading and the fittings with same loading can be exchanged.
