Application:
The T connector is used in main bus bar or lead-down of other circuits, leads the main circuit to electrical equipment and T connecting in intersection of two overhead electrical lines.In addition,it can be used in T connecting by wedge connection or compressed oval tube for wires with small sections.
Advantages & Disadvantages:
This T connecting is light and material saving and with good contact and installed conveniently.However,once installed,it can not be removed and is suitable for constructions of new built small and medium substations. In order to improve electrical contact reliability,connecting one,two or three parallel groove clamp sets in series.The quantity of T connectors will be added when using three parallel groove clamps or above to make T connecting.
The T connector's price is high and with unsightly appearance,only can be used as a temporary substitute when lacking T connections.Any type of T connector must be with enough contact pressure to get stable contact.The oxidation films in clamp groove should be removed seriously and the each bolts should be tightened uniformly.
