Technical and installation requirements:
As the spacer damper plays an important role in power transmission line,the following should be considered in designing:
1.Mechanical strength of centripetal force caused by short-circuit proof current
2.Tensile strength between two clamp heads
3.;The grip strength of clamp heads
4.Activity and electrical performance
5.The selection of rubber for damping type spacer damper
6.Refer to national standard GB/T 2338-2002 for specific requirements
The spacer damper is used to connect inert items and absorb vibration engery but dosen’t consume vibration engery completely.As a result,the damage probability of spacer damper is higher than vibration damper.Most of the damage of spacer damper are caused by vibration and friction,which is closely related with the struction of spacer damper.
Regarding the rubber,we usually adopt silicone rubber.Due to its poor wear resistance,with the help of China Changchun Institute of Chemical Application,we developed and used the rubber No.2 till now.
How to reasonably select the installation location of spacer rod is still a problem to be solved. At present, unequal distance installation method is adopted in China.
