Technology Background:

The ball tongue is one of the link fittings used between iron tower and insulators in power transmission line.In high-voltage transmission line, flashover occurs on the surface of outdoor vertically suspended insulator strings mostly due to bird droppings attached to the insulator strings or icicles formed on the edges of the insulator by snow or freezing rain. At present, there is no good way to prevent flashover.In order to solve the above problems,the ball tongue can effectively avoid the flashover phenomena.

Description:

Link fitting are used to link clamps to insulator,or to link insulator and ground wire clamps to tower arms or subjection structures.Link fitting have special type and common type in accordance with mounting condition. The special type includes the ball-eye and socket-clevis linking with insulator.The common type is usually pin connected type. They have different grades according to the load and are exchangeable for the same grade.
